December seems to have crept up even earlier than usual this year, but we’re not complaining here at JCPR. We’ve been opening advent calendar doors, erecting small (pink) Christmas trees, and listening to Mariah Carey with ardent enjoyment. Yesterday, it was time to get even more excited. It was time for the JCPR Christmas lunch!
Taking place at the lovely Great Queen Street restaurant, the whole of JCPR went en masse to enjoy a slap up festive meal. There was only one condition, thought up by JC’er Laura – everyone had to wear their most festive jumper. The prize for best jumper has to go to Cliff, whose homemade light up jumper was inspired, although a shout out does have to go to Mary, Flick, Maxine, Sophie and Laura who sported Santa onesies for the entirety of the event – festive indeed.
A companywide Secret Santa (given out by our resident Bad Santa candidates Andrew and Paul, image below) saw prizes as varied as a Cliff Richard calendar, a necklace, a bottle of champagne and a bathroom golf set (for the MD, no less)…
Big thanks have to go out to Ruth and Sharon for putting on such a lovely afternoon/evening. We now just have to prepare for the Edelman Christmas party next week…
